Role: Platform Engineer
Period: Current
Activities and Achievements: As a Platform Engineer, I am part of a small team responsible for maintaining the environment and supporting development teams. My role focuses on providing ownership and autonomy to the teams, enabling them to work independently. I build platforms and automations using Backstage, create pipelines with CircleCI, and utilize AWS as our primary cloud provider. Additionally, I employ Terraform, Helm, and Python for infrastructure automation, supporting primarily Java applications on Kubernetes.

Payfare Inc

Role: Devops Engineer
Period: from May 2022 to Feb 2023
Activities and Achievements: Payfare is a Canadian Fintech company and has a complete microservice oriented architecture running on AWS. As part of a small team, I'm responsible to provide support to the developers while try to work on improvements tasks. My work is focused on create pipelines in Jenkins using declarative Groovy language and Dockerfile, set up new microservices on Kubernetes, support production and also the other environments, improve and maintain the existing services like Zipkin, ELK, RabbitMQ and Rundeck. All the work is done by following pull requests process, Terraform changes all registered in Jira.

Activities and Achievements: I work with Devops practices, creating new development processes according to the best practices. I'm responsible to disseminate the Devops culture innovating with features, concepts and practices. My currently role is very practical but I'm also involved with QA and Devops culture sharing. I work with TFS, Git, Docker, Protheus, Ant, Jenkins, Zabbix, Lambda, AWS, Serverless Framework, Terraform and Linux.
